Britnee Ely

Britnee Ely joined the university as the assistant director of alumni relations in the advancement office in 2023.

She arrived from Southern Oregon, where she worked as both a transition specialist for the admissions and recruitment office and an adjunct faculty member teaching a human development course at Rogue Community College in Grants Pass. In addition, she served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Southern Oregon University for two seasons (2022-23).

Britnee previously taught at the elementary school level, serving as a fourth-grade teacher at Highland Elementary School in Grants Pass (2019-22). She began her education career as a student programs coordinator at Bushnell University in Eugene (2017-18). She has also served on missions trips to Kenya, Puerto Rico, Haiti and Nicaragua in recent years.

Britnee earned a master’s degree in higher education specializing in leadership for student success from Walden University in 2021, and holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Bushnell (2019). She lives in Sherwood with her husband Corey and mini Goldendoodle Teddy, and attends Southwest Bible Church. Britnee enjoys traveling, watching sports, running and reading.
