I feel very blessed to have started working for George Fox in June 2009. I joined the advancement office as a database specialist and in November 2010 became the director of research and acquisitions. My professional background contains a myriad of experience, from social work to marketing to international business. The blessing in working for George Fox is that I can meld my professional experience with providing acts of service to others through God's love.
One of my favorite events at George Fox is Serve Day. Providing community service in communion with students, as well as other staff and faculty, is amazing! I have had two very different Serve Day experiences and have learned much more from them than the act of service that I provided.
Personally, I consider myself a "displaced Midwesterner" who fell in love with the Pacific Northwest over 10 years ago. I particularly love the gorgeous waterfalls and our beautiful coastline. My passions are my family, reading and always learning, organization, volunteering and baking. I try to learn or try something new every day.
