Trevor St. Clair

Trevor St. Clair joined the occupational therapy program as an associate professor of occupational therapy and doctoral capstone coordinator in 2023.

He is an American Occupational Therapy Association-credentialed leader in academia and arrived with six years of occupational therapy education experience, most recently as the founding department chair of the Western University of Health Sciences’ entry-level doctorate program in Lebanon, Oregon (2022-23), and as an assistant professor (2020-22) and academic fieldwork coordinator (2017 to 2020) with Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, based in Concord, North Carolina.

Previously, he gained experience in the profession as an occupational therapist in school systems, outpatient clinics, and hospitals in North Carolina from 2013 to 2017. St. Clair earned a post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh (2019), and holds a master of occupational therapy degree (2013) and a master of science degree in applied developmental psychology (2009) from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fairmont State University (2007).

He lives in Portland with his wife, Sasha, and their pets. St. Clair enjoys swimming, hiking, running, and traveling.
