Eric Lopez, PhD
Program Director, George Fox Digital
Associate Professor of Humanities

I was hired as program director for George Fox Digital's humanities platform and an associate professor in 2025. Previously, I served as an adjunct professor at Life Pacific University for two years and was an associate professor in historical theology and biblical studies, as well as director of the institution's master of arts in theological studies program (2019-22). Before that, I served as an assistant professor at the university from 2013 to 2019.
I have taught a wide range of courses on theology, the history of the church, biblical languages and exegesis, biblical literature, and cultures of ancient civilizations. In addition to my teaching load at Life Pacific, I also taught online graduate courses for Pillar Seminary in Omaha, Nebraska, and Asia Life University in Daejeon City, South Korea, on an adjunct basis in 2023-24.
