Beacon Transfer Scholarship
The George Fox Associates-to-Bachelors Beacon Transfer Scholarship program is designed to provide first-generation students and students from underserved populations an opportunity to continue their education and earn a bachelor’s degree at George Fox University after completing an associate’s degree at a community college in Oregon or Washington.
Each year, 12 to 14 selected scholars will receive a two-year, full-tuition scholarship and will be expected to participate in transitional programming designed to ensure academic success. These students will join cohort-style support meetings through the duration of their two-year experience to engage in deliberate conversations on leadership before returning to their communities as agents of change.
