Newberg is a suburban town of about 24,000 located in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley. It is consistently rated among the top 10 “safest cities” in Oregon by SafeWise, a community-focused safety organization.
The city is home to:
- 11 city parks, including a skate park and disc golf courses
- Numerous coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques
- A state-of-the-art aquatics center
- Two movie theaters, including a drive-in theater
- Outdoor activities, including kayaking and paddleboarding on the Willamette River and hiking on local nature trails

- Ride a Bicycle Campus and Newberg are bicycle-friendly. There are bicycle shops in nearby towns. Check out bicycle safety rules before you start riding!
