NEWBERG (March 29, 2023) -- George Fox University invites the community to a free concert featuring guitarist Doyle Dykes at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, in Wood-Mar Auditorium. No tickets are required to attend.

Dykes is arguably the most gifted fingerstyle guitarist alive today, and his performances are unique and soulful blends of song and Scripture. Although influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and musicians, from the country of Chet Atkins to the rock and roll of Duane Eddy and The Beatles, Dykes has developed a distinct, recognizable sound that amazes audiences with skill while capturing hearts with sincerity and soul. His performances can be seen on his “Sunday String-Along” program on YouTube.
