Jen Macnab, MPA
Assistant Director of Academic Engagement, Doctoral Programs
Jen Macnab (MPA) is the assistant director for academic engagement with the doctoral programs. Although Jen started serving the seminary in a registrar capacity in 2008, she officially joined the Doctoral team in 2020.
Jen's involvement at George Fox University has spanned a variety of roles, including service on the GFU Leadership Development Initiative as well as the university's Title IX team. She has worked with the Portland Seminary Pastoral Thriving program and taught as an adjunct for THEO 101 in its inaugural year.
In addition to her work with students, Jen loves reading, writing, and running. She regularly guest-authors for other organizations and launched Toward Thriving, LLC, in 2019 to support other businesses and nonprofits in co-creative endeavors.
Jen and her husband are the parents of two spunky girls. As a family, they spend time canoeing the Tualatin River, gardening, climbing, taking road trips, and raising chickens in the backyard. They are currently members at Holy Trinity in Beaverton but enjoy listening to various pastors via podcasts and virtual services.
