Work alongside our expert computer science and cinematic arts faculty to dive into the world of video game design. Learn the essentials of video game animation, develop programming skills and create your own video game!

Cost

The cost for Video Game Design is $1,800 per student ($1,600 for students from partner schools). This includes a week of immersive college-level courses taught by George Fox faculty, convenient on-campus lodging, three meals per day in the dining hall, and evening programming.

J. Walker Orr, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Computer Science

J. Walker Orr currently serves as an associate professor of biology in the Department of Computer Science. He teaches George Fox’s upper division computer science courses, as well as engineering senior design courses. Walker has a PhD in computer science from Oregon State University.
